Prayer Works! It really does. Everyone needs prayer from time to time.
Prayer is essentially admitting that you do not have all of the answers and that you are willing to come before a higher power to ask for guidance and wisdom. Those who come before God in prayer are humble.
Psalms 34:17: The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
Psalms 34:18: The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.
James 5:16: Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
None of us are perfect. We all have troubles we face in life, some greater than others. It’s not so much about the issues we face in life but how we approach them. When we have God at the center of our lives, we see our outcomes differently. We do not know all of the reasons for why God allows things in our lives to be difficult, but we do know that if we place our complete trust in Him, He will take care of us, no matter what. He has promised that He will do so, and as the Bible teaches, He is always looking to do good for us if we are willing to put our trust in Him.
At Campbell Baptist, we are a praying church. We pray for each other in our church family, our missionaries in foreign lands, and even our next door neighbors. We would like to pray for you. If you would like prayer, please call, text, or email us at: CampbellBaptistPrayers@gmail.com.
